A Carnaby's Cockatoo is extremely fascinating. This species of birds (parrots) are actually migrating birds.

They travel in between woodlands. They lay eggs in the limbs of hollow trees that are at least 130 years old. They have some special kind of feathers that can raise up and can be lowered. They have a powerful curved bill, and a very thick tongue. The Carnaby's Cockatoo has really strong feet which it uses to climb all over the branches on trees.

Their main diet is nuts, seeds, and fruits. You usually would see them in flocks and they hardly ever can be trained to talk. They scream every now and then and they are also very good at performing stunts and acrobatics. They would make such a magnificent pet because of all the things they can do.
