Mir  Mir was the second kind of Russian space station. It is small but has been very successful at doing experiments. Learn more on Mir in the site.

Skylab  The first U.S. space station, Skylab, proved that man could live in space for long periods of time. Even smaller than Mir, it is only one module; most Space Stations have many modules. Learn more information like this in our site on Skylab!

The International Space Station  The International Space Station (or ISS) is still under construction, and the next piece to be launched into space is delayed.
