Famous Sites of New Hampshire

The Franklin Pierce Homestead Historic Site-  This building was the childhood home of the only U.S. president to be born in New Hampshire.  This building is located near Hillsboro. 
Mystery Hill-   It is built up by stone walls, passageways, chambers and carvings.  It is believed that it might have been an early European Colonial Site.
Conway Scenic Railroad-  This railroad track runs through the countryside for an hour-long ride.  It is pulled by an old-fashioned locomotive.
Fort Constitution-  It is located in New Castle.  It is the site where the first warlike act of the Revolutionary War took place.  A nearby museum tells more about the history of this warlike act.
State Capitol-  It is in Concord.  It is constructed of New Hampshire Granite.  This State Capitol was completed in1819.  It is the Nation's oldest State Capitol in which the legislature meets in its original chambers.
