Anaconda

Description

Anacondas are members of the boidea family, are among the most largest snakes in the world! They have heavier bodies than other Boas. Anacondas are very thick and around 20 feet long.

Habitat

Anacondas like to live in deep waters, they usually like dark murky waters.

Physical Characteristics

Anacondas are olive colored with brown spots, and weigh 200 pounds full grown. The anacondas are much like a alligator because of the way their eyes and nostrils are placed.

Prey

Anacondas eat many creatures that are by the waters edge, and then it will pull it under the water until it drowns.

Young

Up to 50 baby anacondas are born in the summer or fall, the female anaconda can give birth twice a year. Baby anacondas are born at about two feet long, and are great swimmers.
