An Underwater Garden

Starfish, or sea stars, are not actually fish at all, but are echinoderms. They have hundreds of tiny tube feet that help them move. Starfish feed primarily on mollusks and other echinoderms. While starfish are commonly represented as having only five legs, there are some that have many more, like the spiny sun star.

The brittle sea star throws it's very fragile arms into serpent like shapes as it glides swiftly in a tide pool. The arms are really brittle and are easily broken, but the brittle star can easily grow them back.
