A sea anemone is an extremely simple animal. There is only one opening (the mouth) into it's single body cavity that serves as stomach, lung, intestine, and circulatory system. Sea anemones have poisonous tentacles that kill the small fish they eat. |

The Clownfish is unaffected by the poison and lives among the tentacles, where it is safe from predators. In return, the clown fish attracts other fish which dart after it and are caught by the anemone. |
