WHALE IN THE SKY

A time long ago, Thunderbird watched over the sea and land and all its creatures. One day he saw Whale chasing Salmon. Frog was near and saw everything. Frog was afraid and told Raven, and Raven told Thunderbird. Thunderbird picked up Whale with his sharp talons. He flew high in the sky and dropped Whale on the highest mountain. Thunderbird clapped his wings and Whale slid down the mountain. Whale promised never to chase Salmon again. A chief told a carver to make a totem pole on the story. On the totem pole, Thunderbird holds Whale, Raven comes next, Raven holds Salmon, and below that is Frog.
