Iris:
 
 

 

The iris is the colored part of the pupil. The iris is a contractile disk that is between the cornea and the lens. The iris controls the amount of light that enters the eye.
Pupil:

 

The pupil is the opening in the center of the iris in the eye. It is the black part in the center of your eye.
Retina:
 

 

The retina is the inner membrane at the back of the eye. It is sensitive to the light, and it recieves optical images.
Lens:

 

The lens is a clear oval in the center of your eye behind the iris that focuses light rays on the retina.
Optical Nerves:
 
 Optical Nerve is the nerve of sight which goes from the brain to the eye.
Cornea:
 

 

The cornea is the clear part of the outer part of the eye. The cornea covers the iris and the pupil.
Rods:
 
 

 


 Rods are microscopic sence organs in the retina of the eye that are sensetive to dim light.
Cones:
 
Cones are coned shaped cells of the retina that respond to light.
After Images:
 
After image is the thing that our mind thinks it sees when certain rods and cones tire out.
Receptors:
 
Receptors are cells in the retina that perceive light.
ROY G BIV:
 

 

ROY G BIV stands for the colors in the rainbow. It stands for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet.
Primary Colors:
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 


 Primary colors are the three colors that make up all other colors. There are 2 different sets, one for light and one for       pigment. The primary colors for light are Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. The primary colors for pigment are red, yellow, and blue.
