Hitler

Hitler was very prejudiced. If you weren't part of a certain culture or religion he would literally hate you. That is the way he felt about the Jews, Polish and any German that wasn't pure blooded. He wanted to become ruler of the world. First he started with countries throughout the Eastern part of Europe.

Hitler wasn't wasting any time. He wanted to organize enough police power to enforce the Nazi policies. He persuaded his cabinet to declare a state of emergency and end individual freedoms. He made it so that they couldn't have there own privacy or anything. The officials could go through the peoples mail when ever they wanted. They could also listen to peoples phone conversations and they could go through private homes without a warrant.

Also Hitler relied on terror to receive the things that he wanted. He got tens of thousands of jobless men to become a part of the Nazi Storm Troopers. They were called the SA. These auxiliary policemen's job was to watch the streets and to beat up any opponents of the Nazi regime. This gave people fear of the SA and make them silent, especially the Germans who did not support them.

Adolf Hitler

After a while it became clear to all the people that Hitler was going to last. Also since his power was increasing, more and more people sought out to leave and never come back. After a while that became harder to do. So the Nazis placed some strict rules on taking money and property out of Germany and other foreign countries. They did this by restricting the number of immigrants they would except. In some foreign countries, including Britain, it was said that a flood of new immigrants could encourage the anti-Jewish prejudice and make life more difficult for the Jewish.
