Dr. Evan G. Houston served as a
captain in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was stationed in India. He brought this handcarved box home to his wife when the war was over. It was purchased in the vacinity of the Taj Mahal and serves as an example of the ornate skill possessed by the Indian people.
