Peppermint
other names: Perennial Mentha piperita

The leaves of the plant are slightly hairy on the under side and the flower grow in clusters of reddish-purple. The flowers grow on the axle of leaves on the upper part of the pant. These reddish-purple flowers almost never bare seeds. The Roman would crown there heads with peppermint during there great feasts also the Roman would spry there tables with the scent. Peppermint is good to keep rats away because they do not like the smell. Peppermint is also used when you have an upset stomach or for poultices. It is an antispic plant and cures toothaches. When eaten it first feels hot, than cool because of the menthol in the plant.
