There were many wars in Ancient Greece but the three main wars are the Trojan War, The Persian War, and the Peloponnesian War. These three wars were a major part in Ancient Greece history. Trojan War:For years people thought the Trojan War was just a myth but archeologists discovered the city of Troy, and many artifacts too. Years ago the Greeks built a huge wooden horse and placed in front of Trojans stone wall. Soon it was wheeled into the city and the solders inside the horse quietly climbed out and overtook Troy. Persian War:You might think that a war would only be one war. Well some wars had more parts into it. The Persian War had three parts not one. When king Croesus died the Persians took advantage of the new ruler and attacked. This was the start of the Persian war. Peloponnesian War:After the Persian war the Athenians army was weak because they got attacked from the Persians. Since they were weak the Spartans attacked the Athenians and this was the start of the Peloponnesian War. |
