The following "animal stories" are based on Rudyard Kipling's short stories, Just So Stories.  Just So Stories, fictional pieces, describe how our present day animals came to be. They use the following critical traits:
  • A change of occurs
  • Some sort of learning happens
  • A problem, climax, and resolution are present
  • Animal characters are used
  • Stylistic writing is present using one or more of the following techniques:  repetition, humor, strong vocabulary, or is told to a child
