


The
Angonoka lives on the island of Madagascar. Madagascar is located east of
the continent of Africa. The Angonoka lives in Soalala-Cape Sade which is
a restricted bamboo forest in Madagascar.
The Angonoka's habitat has been destroyed almost completely. Farm Animals such as pigs have brought down its numbers, and so have fires, sometimes made by humans. The Angonoka has been captured by collectors.
The Ministry of Forest and Water of Madagascar protects the Angonoka. The species appears in Category A of the 1968 African Conservation Covention.
