International Affairs
is a department that handles the relationship the city has with other
countries. They also makes sure
that any other visitors that visits our city are welcome in away that honors
our city. The department
also keeps active relationships to our sister cities. Some of
the department that are under International Affairs are:
 | Casa San Antonio - This program was created to assist people who want to do business in Mexico. The three cities where offices are located are Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey. The program also presents our city to people who might want to visit San Antonio. |
| Trade Missions - This department matches companies from San Antonio with companies who have the same type of business in another city and encourages them to trade. They bring these companies together for meetings. |
| The Protocol department - This department is responsible for welcoming guests to San Antonio. They are also in charge of cultural exchange between sister cities as well as the foreign exchange student program. |
