Connecticut  facts

The state flower is the mountain laurel. The state bird is the robin. The state tree is the huge white oak. The state hero is nathan hale. The state fossil is eubrontes giganteus (dinosaur tracks). Some of the rivers in connecticut are the Connecticut, Housatonic, Naugatuck, Shepaug, Quinnipac, Shetucket, Willimantic, Quinebang, and Thames.
