I had a lot of fun making this Web site. ThinkQuest is a lot harder than it seems, but it was also very informative. I learned things about Germany that I never knew. I learned another very important thing ~ how to make a Web site. All of the researching, crediting, rewriting, linking and editing all together made a great Web site.

I am 10 years old and in the fifth grade. I have two sisters, Emily and Stephanie, and a really nice mom and dad. My teacher is Mrs. Quinn. My best friend is Liz, who is also on ThinkQuest, so that is another reason this was very fun for me. Some of my hobbies are competitive swimming, ballet, and jazz. I swim for the local country club, and I take ballet and jazz. Two of my newest hobbies are playing the clarinet for the school band and beading.

The country I chose was Germany because I am part German. Another reason I chose Germany was because when I was little I had a babysitter who lived in Germany but spoke English. Her name is Susie, and she was only around one summer. Susie was very nice, and she also taught me and told me things I will never forget about German life and about her country.

I would like to thank my coach, Mrs. Donovan, and my teacher, Mrs. Quinn, for letting me out of class so often for this. I would also like to say hi to my friends ~ Emily, Kathryn, Carolyn, Danielle, and Erica.
