France is known for the greatest varieties of and best tasting cheese. Some of them are SAFR Port Salut, Couturier and Soignon Goat Cheeses, Marquis de Lafayette and Chèvretine and Chèvre de Bellay. They also have many different desserts, such as Breton Galettes, Madeleines, Coussins from Lyons , Calissons, Papillotes, Sarments du Médoc, Nougats, Caramels, Candied, Chestnuts, Chestnut Jam, Pâtes de Fruit, Provençal Honeys, Pastilles de Vichy, Cachou Lajaunie and Anis de Flavigny. Strange names, but they taste great! To wash it all down, you can have some milk and put hot chocolate mix in it.

I'm not sure if you want to try all of these, but go ahead. One very famous food from France are crepés. They are like pancakes, only they are made differently. You can add cheese to them or strawberries. All in all, French food tastes delicious!
