ABOUT ELLEN
Ellen My name is Ellen and I'm 10 years old. I am in 4th grade at Mississippi Elementary School. I live in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. I have a sister named Ruth and a brother named Ben. I going to tell you about my great-great grandpa. His name was Alfred. In England his father was a bobby(policemen). Alfred lived with his grandma and worked in a drugstore. In 1901 when Alfred was 18 he came to America for a better Life. he made it through Ellis Island and moved to Indiana with his wife Maggie, who he had married after he got to America. He was a farmer. In 1907 he and Maggie moved to Iowa. Then in 1920 they moved to Minnesota. They lived there for the rest of their lives. Alfred died in 1962 and Maggie died in 1948.
