The last I will talke about is A hurricane that happened in 1992 called Andrew with estimated to $12 billion in damage, and it had approximatly 50 deaths along with thousands of people left homeless.
- The strongest hurricane hit the Western Hemisphere in the 20th century. It was hurricane Gilbert. Hurricane Gilbert pretty much wiped out Jamaica and got a chance to destroy a part of mexico. This occured in 1988 with winds that blasted up to 350 km/hr or 218 mph.
