The Baritone is a brass instrument and an essential part of a band. It has
a cup-shaped mouthpiece and three valves. It is very similar sounding to
the trombone and is part of the lower Brass section. Other similar
instruments to the trombone are the Euphonium, a bigger Baritone with four
valves instead of three and narrower bell. There is also the Tenor Horn
which is has three valves and is similar to the cornet but is played resting on
the shoulder of the musician. |
