The Trombone was invented in the 1400s as an improvement to the trumpet.
The trombone is built in many various styles. The one shown above is a
tenor trombone. other popular trombones include the alto and the bass
trombone. There is also trombones that have valves like the trumpet
instead of a slide. It is a favored instrument in chamber and church
music. Now the trombone is popular with military, concert, orchestral, and
jazz bands. Early composers for the trombone included Wolfgang Amadeus
Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven! |
