Flute
was known to china in 900 BC. but the modern flute that we know today was
created by German flute maker Theobald Boehem in 1832. The modern flute
has thirteen or more holes in the entire body, including the blowhole. It
is made of three sections, the mouthpiece, the body, and the end piece.
The flutes range extends three octaves, from middle C upward. The piccolo
is another kind of flute except a lot smaller, and there is also an alto and
bass flute. |
