Chair table A chair table was made up of a wooden chair and a piece of flat, polished wood coming off the arm rest. It was like the first high chair or connected desk and chair. Many middle schools, high schools and colleges use these chairs today. Click here to see a picture of a chair table.	Bifocals Bifocals are a kind of glasses that have two different pieces of glass. The top piece of the glass is to see things far away and the bottom piece of the glass is for reading and seeing things close to you. They are still used today. You might be wearing a pair now!
Franklin Stove The Franklin Stove fit into a fire place and could heat a whole house. It is still used today!	Lightning rods "Franklin Rods" or lightning rods as we know them today were invented to protect houses from lightning.
Swim gear Ben Franklin made some swimming inventions like paddles for your arms and legs and a kite that could pull you across the water.	Armonica Ben Franklin also invented the armonica, a musical instrument played by rubbing wet fingers across glass discs.
