1923-Transjordan is established by partitioning Palestine.
1930's-Nazism caused an increase in Jewish immigration to Palestine.
1941-British liberate Lebanon.
1944-Syria becomes an independent state.
1946-Jordan becomes a kingdom.
1947-U.N. votes to divide Palestine into an Arab-Jewish state.
1948-Israel is created as a homeland for Jews.
1949-First Arab-Israeli War, about 700,000 Palestinian refugees flee to Arabic countries.
1964-Palestinian refugees organize the PLO( Palestinian Liberation Organization)
1967-Israel doubles its land during the Six Day War.
1970- PLO stops trying to take over Jordan and moved to Lebanon.
1973-4TH Arab-Israeli War.
1979-Egypt signs peace agreement with Israel.
1982-Israel invades Lebanon in attempts to drive out PLO.
1987-Initfada in Israel begins, riots continue till 1990.
1988-PLO issues a statement to stop terrorism and acknowledge Israel's right to exist.
1993-Israel and PLO agree to work for peace.
2000-Israel and Palestine fighting starts again.
