A girl named Lillian lived...

"Oh, it is so nice!  Thank you, Willa!" Lillian exclaimed.  Willa, her best friend blushed.  Over spring break, she went to the Amazon and brought Lillian a beautiful bracelet with a design of red moons.

Like a poisonous plant
Are as deadly
As a deadly viper

Lillian slipped on the bracelet.  "It fits, Wil! You are the greatest."  Willa was at a loss for words.  She always was.  She hated talking.
 "You're welcome.  So let's go to class now or we'll be late."  Lillian was just the opposite.  She was always the center of attention.  Very popular.

And are more viperous than ever

Classes zoomed by faster than ever for Lillian.  She was walking home with Willa.  Then Katie came over and asked to see the bracelet.  It wouldn't come off.  It dug into her skin.
