The 5th Unfortunate Events Book

Once again, the Baudelaire orphans, Violet, Klaus and Sunny have failed to find a responsible caretaker for them that will keep away a mean man named "Count Olaf" from trying to steal the Baudelaire fortune. This time, Mr. Poe, a lazy but very nice man, sticks these poor kids in a boarding school.

"Finally we will meet other kids and get a good education," the Baudelaires thought, but that was not the case. Because they did not have a parent to sign a form, they get stuck sleeping and living in the "Orphan Shack." That's not the real name. A mean kid made it up and now everyone just calls it that.

It's horrible. It has pink wallpaper with hearts, haystacks to sleep on, crabs all over the ground that pinch your feet, and dripping moss from the ceiling!

Their education was horrible too. Violet's teacher ate bananas all day and told short stories that the children had to write down, and once in a while there would be a test. Klaus's teacher was obsessed with the metric system, so all Klaus did all day long was measurements. Sunny's job was the most mysterious and weird of all.

How will the Baudelaires survive this miserable school? Read this horrible/wonderful book to find out.
