This is a
          story about a boy name Brian whose dad moved to Canada to work
          in the Canadian oil fields after his parents got divorced. Brian's
          mom gives him a hatchet on the ride to the airport. On his private
          flight to visit his dad for the summer, his pilot has a heart
          attack and dies mid-air. The plane is thrown off course and crash
          lands in a lake in the middle of the Canadian wilderness.
          
Brian's ability
          to survive will depend on his memory of thousands of hours of
          TV watching and his hatchet. He has to figure out how to live
          without anything or anyone but nature. Will he be rescued? Read
