Gary Paulsen

 

Gary Paulsen was born May 17, 939 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was a terrible student--he flunked the ninth grade and finished high school with a D- average. One day after he finished high school, he went into a library to get warm and the librarian asked him if he wanted a library card. He said, "Sure," and he started reading all the time. Gary Paulsen is known as a much better outdoorsman than student! He currently lives in LaLuz, New Mexico.
