Description: It has a thick hard shell and a long thin body with 2 large claws. They also have 8 legs.

Length: Around 30 cm.

Weight: 7 kilograms

Where it lives: Rocky shores around Turkey, Britain, France, and Italy. The hole it lives in is 20 to 100 meters below sea level.

Reproduction: It has many eggs when it is an adult

Diet: It eats anything on the ocean floor including other lobsters.

Why is it endangered: It is caught for food
