Tennessee

Since most of this site is about Memphis' famous pork barbecue, for this one page we'll take you as far away as possible: about 400 miles away, in fact, to the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. There, on a ridgetop far from the Internet and its competitions, you can visit with people who'll share their barbecued squirrel, rabbit, possum, and raccoon--as well as pork and chicken! Serve that up with a little cornbread, and some green beans cooked with lots of bacon or raccoon fat.
