Missouri

To Q'ers, Missouri means Kansas City, the "other" home of barbecue! Kansas City is host to the second largest barbecue contest in the country.

At Clancy's BBQ in St. Louis, MO, they select the best cuts of pork from the top of the loin. Their BBQ is seasoned by a dry rub of a special blend of spices directly over the meat. They claim the secret to making delectable BBQ is commitment to traditional BBQ methods. Their menu items range from slabs of pork to hamburgers right off the grill. As do most BBQ resturants, they have side orders, including fries, southern cole slaw, country potato salad, cucumber medley and even spicy old bay "b" red potatoes.

Kansas City ribs are rubbed with brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, cayenne, and onion powder, then slathered with a tomato-based sauce laced with molasses, sugar, vinegar and garlic.

YUM!
