Iguanas are usually adaptable to more experienced people. They are not usually adaptable to kids.
Iguanas are not cuddly like most cats or dogs. Iguanas don't like kids playing with them for certain reasons. Most importantly because the children might drop the iguana or let them loose. You should choose your pet carefully. An iguana is a tough pet to handle!
