Step 1) Turn so the front of your body is facing the third base line. Step 2) Look at the sign the catcher gives to say what pitch to pitch. Then put your glove to your chest.

Step 3) Take your front foot and step back a very small amount. Step 4) Then with that same leg, bring your knee up to about waist high.

Step 5) With that leg dangling in the air, stride forward toward homeplate.

Step 6) When you are nearing the end of the stride, release the ball and send it flying toward homeplate.
Turn everything towards the batter except for your feet. |

Step 7) The last thing you need to remember is that no matter how bad the call, don't argue with the umpire because he'll throw you out of the game!
