Two seamed fastball

First you hold the ball with your pointer finger and middle finger on the two seams and your thumb under the ball. When you throw the ball, you throw it basically like any other ball. If you look down the ball as it heads toward the plate, it will break, throwing off the batter's timing. Just remember, it won't make the ball go any faster. It will go only as fast as you can throw the ball.

Four seamed fastball

The four seamed fastball is basically your average fastball. It's important that your fingers don't touch each other. That will cause the ball to sink and make it hard to control. It is also important to keep the ball away from your palm. Just remember to relax when pitching. This is just your average fastball.
