1. When you are up to bat, the first thing you do is get a helmet for protection.
2. Then
you grab a bat. 3.
Next stand on the right or left side of the plate depending
on if you're a lefty or righty. 4.
You should stand with your feet about a shoulders width
apart. Hold your elbow up but not up too far. 5.
The first step in hitting the ball is to take a step toward
the pitcher when the pitcher takes his step
foward. 6.
Then you turn the front of your body toward the pitcher.
When you do this, you turn/twist your foot. 7.
The next step is to make a level swing. 8.
Follow through on your swing so you get the full amount of
power.
Remember: DON'T
SWING AT ANYTHING BELOW YOUR KNEES OR ANYTHING HIGHER THAN YOUR
SHOULDERS.
