Colorado Rockies

The Colorado Rockies have a short but interesting history. Starting only in 1993, the Colorado Rockies went off to a terrible start. However, they quickly brought talent to the lineup by getting players like Larry Walker. Slowly they started to move up in the National League. After the N.L. and A.L. were separated into three divisions, the Rockies had a much easier time getting to the playoffs. Finally in only a few seasons of big league play, the Rockies were in the playoffs. Quickly the Rockies were knocked out of the playoffs by more experienced teams.

Since acquiring Todd Helton, the Rockies have begun a surge in their division. However, lately the team has been slumping, and if they keep this up, they will not see the World Series or even the playoffs. The Rockies have a lot to develop, but someday Rockies' players will be wearing World Series rings on their fingers.
