Container Fauna

There are a lot of different animals living in container habitats. Each animal has a unique relationship to the container. For example some animals have mutualistic relationships, which means they benefit from each other. Other animals have commensualistic relationships, which means only one animal benefits. The other kind of relationship animals have is competitive, which means they compete for resources within the habitat. Animals in container habitats have all of these relationships.

Each animal in a container habitat is part of a guild. A guild is a set of species of animals within a habitat that have related roles. For example, there are predators, prey, herbivores, and detrivores.
