In this part of the website you will find information on World War II and the aftermath of the war. Here you will find out about how America became involved in the war. Also you will find information about the bombing of Hiroshima. Another piece of information that you will find in this section is what happened after the A-Bomb. Finally there is information about Nuclear Powers and Nuclear Free zones. We are doing this part of the website because it shows why Hiroshima became a city of peace. The city of Hiroshima decided they didn’t want to see this kind of destruction again.

The pictures below, though very graphic, will give you an idea of how deadly an atomic bomb can be and help you understand why Hiroshima became a city of peace. Click on each picture to see a larger image.
