"War, the atomic bomb…only human beings have produced them. They are the crimes of adults who forget the precious value of life. I believe it is the duty and responsibility of adults to teach our children the importance of not repeating these mistakes and give them the heart to care for and value all life on earth." Junko Morimoto My Hiroshima We are a group of fifth grade students who worked with our technology teacher to create this website. It is full of information on Hiroshima’s part in World War II. Hiroshima is a city in hte south part of Japan. To see a map of Japan, click here. We have learned all about nuclear warfare, and through our study, have become committed to the cause of world peace. To hear the whole song, click here. These are the words at the beginning of the song: Deep peace of the running wave to you While you are visiting our website, we invite you to look at our listserv., a place for you to join with us to share your reflections on peace. The plaque will be put in a very peaceful place in our school, outside in the butterfly garden where people can come and be reminded of peace. Visit ThinkQuest
