Bill Peet Book Project Ideas - Board Game

Board Game Project:

Board games are cool because you can make the trail go in different shapes.  Mine sort of looks like the word "Bill".

Materials:    Poster board
                   Index cards
                   Colored pencils or markers
                   Dice

                    Imagination

Steps:   1.  Design the shape of your game.  Break it into squares.
            2.  Decide what actions happen in each square (roll again, go back,
lose a turn. answer a question, etc.).
            3.  Fill out the squares on the game with the actions you picked.  Use
            markers to make it colorful.
            4.  Make up questions for the spaces where players have to answer questions.
Base them on the book.  Write the questions on the index cards.  Make sure
you write the answers somewhere too!
