Frostbite

Webster defines frostbite as:

when a body part gets way too cold.

Pain will occur with frostbite. Blisters may also occur. This happens when a body part or parts get so cold that they freeze. Since the temperature on Everest can reach 120° below zero, burr, frostbite is a problem for high altitude climbers. Severe frostbite can cause you to lose the body part that was frozen.
