How the Fighting Began

Ever since people have been put on this world there have been conflicts and fighting. Disagreement has gone as far back as the Bible with Kane and Able. The fighting in the Middle East has also been going on for a long time.

In the Bible, there is a story of Moses and the Israelites walking in the desert for forty years who came upon the promised land, or the city called Canaan. Along this journey, Moses had died. The person he had appointed to lead his people to the promised land sent two spies into the city. They marched around the city in silence and after the third time, the priest put down his staff and the walls of the city fell. The rest of Moses' people crossed the river and lived in the city. Over the years people started leaving and going other places. Beginning in 1948, the Jews' descendants began to return to the land they claimed was theirs. The Arab and Palestinian groups who were in Israel before the Jews returned were upset and continue to be to this day with their "homeland" being taken away.
