Things you will need for this experiment:
After you have gathered all your supplies, cut a half circle on one side of the construction
paper starting at one corner and going to the other corner of the side (it should look like
you took a bite out of one side of the paper). Now decorate the paper as you like using
the marking pens. Then roll the paper into a cone shape, with the cut side at the tip of
the cone, and tape the cone together. Cut a little bit off the tip of the cone so that you
have a hole that is about one inch wide. Now speak through the small end of the cone
using your regular voiceÑyou'll be surprised how loud it sounds.
BLACK OR WHITE
Things you will need for this experiment:
Once you have your supplies, shine the black light on the vase. The vase will look green? This is because of a chemical in the glass.
If this doesn't work, the glass may not have the chemical in it.
