Why do you not feel cold when you have heavy clothing on?
Because the heavy clothes are thicker and lets less air out.
Why does water act weird when heated in the microwave?
Because molecules act weird near water. The molecules take up their room in liquid and cause weird reactions.
Why does heat melt things?
It gets into the substance and melts it by expanding.
Why do you see heat waves?
You can see heat move from a distance because the molecules from up close are hard to see. They are so small that they do not appear.
Why does smoke appear when things aer heated to much?
Because there is no more room for the substance to expand, so the heat has to push out molecules.
Why should you not rub your hands together when you have frostbite?
It is bad to be in a cold climate and perform something that has to do with heat. Your skin is not yet used to it yet.
What is the warmest part of your body?
The heart, because it is pumping all the time.
What causes people to be blind?
Maybe a car accident might have effected their brain. The reflection might appear in diffent places.
Why are people near and farsighted?
Some people have longer or shorter eyeballs, causing the reflection appear in wrong places.
What is the pupil used for?
The pupil is an empty space. It just lets light come into the eye.
How come you cannot see things when you look straight at it in the dark?
The rods and cones combine their images when there is light. The rods can only see in black.
What protects your eye?
The sclera, the tough and white slippery part of your eye.
Why do you see thing where they do not appear when you shut one of your eyes?
Because your brain cannot control depth. No two eyes see the same world.
How come when you wake up in the morning, you have to squint to see things?
Because your eyes are not used to the light.
