Civil War	1861	1865	The North part of America wanted to stop slavery in the south.
World War 1	1914	1918	A conflict got started up between the Central Powers who were Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Turkey. They were against the Allies who were France, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Japan, and, from 1917, the United States.
World War 2	1939	1945	Germany was falling apart and Hitler said that he could make Germany a world power.
Vietnam War	1961	1975	The north part of Vietnam wanted to take over all of Vietnam with communism.
