About a year ago I went to a pet store to get some hamsters.  When I got there I decided I would get two hamsters so they wouldn't be lonely.  The man working there said that the two I got were both males, so I named them Ren and Stimpy.  Well, Ren ended up being female and she had six babies.  It was fun watching them grow up, but then the babies had babies, and then the babies' babies had babies.  In about six months I had about sixteen hamsters.  I gave about six away to a pet store.  So far I've gotten two friends to take some.  They cost a lot of money for all the cages and for all the food.  They also take up a lot of space in my room.  Sometimes pet ownership brings on a lot of responsibilities that I didn't think of ahead of time...
