They live in North America.

It weighs 3 to 12 pounds. It has dark brown to black fur. It is about 20 to 30 in. long and the tail is 13 to 17 in.
THE AREA YOU'LL FIND IT IN:
They live in forests. They like to make their dens in hollowed out trees.
ITS GRUB:
It is a carnivore.
It eats plant eaters like snowshoe
hares, mice, squirrels, or birds. It also eats fruits and berries.
It is known for its ability to hunt and kill porcupines.

They have 5 toes on each foot and can retract their claws like a cat. Their nick-name is the "fisher-cat".
HOW IT HAS BIRTH:
The Fisher has 1 to 5 babies at a time. The girls start having young at age 2.
