The Lion and the Lamb Peace Arts Center

In 1987 at Bluffton College The Lion and the Lamb Peace Arts Center was established by Dr. Elizabeth Hosteller .In 1995 The Honda Outdoor Peace sculpture was constructed and now the symbol of peace arts. It was to promote peace education for children through arts and literature. It provides programs for area youth groups, sponsors conferences, and workshops. It also includes programs for public schools to travel to the center at Bluffton college.

The center's mission statement includes some way's the purpose is achieved. First they "developed and plan programs for children , preschool, through high school that emphasizes diversity appreciation , of the enviorment ." The other is "promotion of dignity and respect and expiramenting with response to conflict." Over 9,000 benifited from programing at the center in 2,000.
