Parker Ranch is the best example for wisdom because the previous Parkers had the knowledge to do certain things that would help the ranch in any way. Once they brought in Mexicans who were known as "paniolos." These Mexican cowboys taught the Hawaiians how to control the cattle in a skilled way. The early Parkers also had to know about the managing of a ranch and how to do that properly. Their wisdom in establishing and maintaining the ranch has lasted through time. Parker Ranch is still, after 150 years, a fully operating ranch on the Big Island.
When I saw how the Parkers acted in managing their ranch I found out how they used their knowledge to make it successful. They were wise and seemed to know a lot about ranching. They brought in the paniolos and that was pretty smart because they were very skilled in ranching.
If you ever stop off on the island of Hawaii come visit the Parker Ranch and you can find out about how life was in the past. There are trail rides and horseback rides that take you on a tour of the ranch and its property.
